What is the MAKERS MOVEMENT?

“A technological and creative revolution using technology to make, repair & customize the things we need. It also overlaps with children’s natural inclination to learn by doing.”
– Dale Dougherty, Founder, Make Magazine

What are Makerspaces?
A makerspace is a physical location where people gather to share resources and knowledge, work on projects, network, and build.

STEAM Maker Spaces

Making is not just a novelty or a trend — it’s a stance toward learning. It’s a conviction that problems are made to be solved, challenges are fun and “doing” is what matters.

Makerspaces blended with STEAM disciplines are ideal places to learn by DOING, making, communicating and collaborating on real life projects appropriate for all types of makerspace environments which they can be customised for practical creative projects.

Workshops can be conducted by The Makers Collaborative at your location as well as set-up and training your people to manage your makerspace.
